First Week Of Daycare

The girls finished their first full week of daycare. They are adjusting better then expected. The first day was rough on Grace as she didn’t nap all day but the rest of the week she was just fine. They have made a few new friends and love their teacher Ms. Joanna. The girls have tried a few new things like pancakes, graham crackers & oatmeal cookies. Here are a few photos from their first morning.
Maureen’s Last Day – We Will Miss You !

Today is Maureen’s last day as the girls will be starting daycare on Monday. She has been the girls Nanny for a year now. We would like to thank Maureen for taking such good care of Julia & Grace. She was an integral part in Julia overcoming her torticollis. She also practiced walking with the girls and read books to them everyday. She treated the girls like they were her own children. We know that Maureen will be a great mother to her own child/children some day. We are sorry to see her go but we believe it is time for the girls to strart interacting with other children their age. Monday begins a new journey for Julia & Grace, as well as Mommy & Daddy. Hopefully it will be an easy transition for us all.

Yesterday we had a family photo shoot with Jennifer Morais from JMPhotographyNY. The shoot was at 7PM at the Duck Pond in Tuckahoe. The girls were a little bit cranky but all in all the shoot went very well. Jen is a great photographer and we highly recommend her. Jen is reachable via her website http://www.jmpny.com

First Visit To The Park

Yesterday we took Julia & Grace for their first visit to the park. We chose Memorial Park in Nyack knowing that they have several infant swings. The girls loved the swings. It started to get cold down by the water so their visit was short. Can’t wait to take them back another day.

1 Year Checkup

Julia & Grace went for their 1 year checkup yesterday. Julia weighs 20 lbs. 5 oz. and is 28 1/4 inches long. Grace weighs 19 lbs. 14 oz. and is 28 3/4 inches long. Both received a shot in each arm.
